So i was wondering through the idea's and suggestions forum when i saw 2 threads called : -The Guardian System - Peanut -Need more videos in youtube for afterwind beginers guide steps by Van Helsing And they all had some sort of link to helping new or lower ranked players. So what I'm planning to do is make a sort of Community, where High Ranked Players can help Low Ranked Players. Each Low Ranked player will be assigned to a high ranked player, who will be their Tutor from that day on. Whenever that Tutor Decides that the Low Ranked player has learned enough and there is no need for him to train any further, then he can end the tutorial training with him/her. I'm Going to be starting this soon, but I need Confirmation that the Afterwind Society wants this. If this goes on, then my next step will be getting High Ranks (that are good) to sign up to the plan, and then I will see where it goes from there. Thanks

If you really cared you wouldn't have even done a poll. Write a guide.

It's a good idea and i would support you. but isn't this the job of the coalition to train their members?

This is already done just not officially. Still, I suppose this is a good idea. If it is done I would prefer it be something done officially by Ivan & Amok. For example more experienced players could have a part of their profile that shows players they are training. Idk, just throwing around ideas.

Most of us have tried helping others before. Fruit has helped me many times, I've helped players, everyone helps players somehow. Why do we need a system for this? All it would do is boost people already wack ego's and make helping people a contest instead of a kind gesture. If you help someone and their thanks isn't enough, I suggest making a guide we need so that everyone can thank you for contributing/helping out ^_^

This is what coalitions are for. Good idea but this process is already going around no need to improve or make system out of it. There are other priorities.

Huh, just saw this. Here's my post on the unbelievably stupid idea of a "guardian" system: The second part is the significant part. Having seen this model work before, I am certain this can work here. It's not an original idea, but it's a system that definitely works.

To add-on, best thing to do (as a new player), would be to ask a higher-ranked player for tips and get friendly with him/her. If they like you, you could ask if they could be your mentor or something along those lines. I can say my mentor was Sificvoid and Pinheiro, without them I would have never been at least decent at this game. A Mentor can change a lot, but we do not need a system for it. Join a coalition, or pull your head up (In other words, don't be shy) and ask someone for help! Just do not make a bad impression of yourself. Hope I made some sense here.

I would have no problem helping other players with how to play. Its honestly no fun when your not challenged. But my ways are highly complex to implement in every game unless they meet certain conditions. I'm also developing a style of play using Blitzkrieg that so far is doing well. (murking Imp players easily.) Best country for a Blitz player in Europe is without a doubt Ukraine.

I didn't read all the posts, but what if there were designated trainers (like mods) maybe 10-15 and try to hold training sessions at a set time and day every week?

There are only about 5 rank 10's and up lol. Maybe you should set the rank a bit lower to lets say 8. Right now rank 8 seems to be the skill level with all players of this rank at least being somewhat good at AW. I'm not saying all rank 8's are good just alot.

Guys, you don't see the point. There is absolutely no reason to make simple acts of kindness a business. If you want to hold training sessions, make a clan; they already do just that. New players just need to politely ask someone for help.
