Hello,

I would like to know just why can't there be a democratic vote to kick players? The kick feature that's currently in isn't good enough tbh. We all know games are filled with that one guy who just attacks people out of paranoia, then the rest of the participants wants to nuke them..

Absolutely terrible idea, now when you beat a 10v1 allyfag they can just boot you out.

Of course it sounds all nice that you could democratically kick people, based on a majority vote. But as you play more and more, you encounter players who gang up against you. That is detrimental to fair use of this feature, provided it's implemented.

Thanks for kindly explaining it e Mare, however I was just curious because what if a majority of people don't want a certain person in it?

That can only work at the start of a game.

At later stages, when factions have usually formed, some people want others out of the game, e.g., when they would inevitably lose but naturally don't want that to happen, so they would decide to kick the player( against whom the 2 players have ganged up)

Even if this is only used at the start of a game, kicking players where this would work - scenarios with a lot of players( ensuring a fair vote) or whole whole world games - would in turn be bad for the game itself, specially in the former case the game has players distributed all over the map, allowing them to control specific areas.

This also balances the game and may also fulfill the role of historical accuracy, which is what many people enjoy.
E.g., Germany getting kicked out of a WWII means what the game is about doesn't happen - World War.

Ah. Thanks for the information!

That example of Germany is just silly in my opinion though, I mean why kick them out of another world war? lol
