It depends on you play style, as they are both as important. However, if most of your cities along the coast, and you know how to use trans effectivily, cheaper ground is better.

6000 for 100 of them with 600 upkeep vs 5000 for 100 with 500 upkeep, and since they add up overtime, its more effective to get cheaper first.

I'd say faster infantry upgrade
Though it add just +1 to infantry range it will allow you to expand greater than before resulting in better income and troop count if you expand right and fast

No need for a poll. Faster inf is the most important inf upgrade. Just like the marines upgrades, it goes like this;

1. Faster
2. Cheaper
3. Lucky

Now you are being a fag because I disagreed with you on a topic.
I don't play UN and I play RP because I like diplomacy. I play on normal maps, too.

"dog that barks never bites" what you said made no sense, besides if you believe that SOME scenarios are not competitive play then you are a permanoob. A good player should be able to play in any map and should be able to get familiar with special units (if any) in no time.

Diplomatic scenarios are very uncompetititve... Countries have advantages over others, you rarely get a chance to fight and when you do you are usually are teaming on someone. If someone only played diplomatic scenarios, they would never learn anything because they would not have to. I'm not saying all scenarios are bad, just the ones that end in an "ally end"

Yeah, you could say. But that's not what I said exactly. There is a lot of fighting in RP as a lot of people tend to go rogues, etc. in order to sp farm. On the other hand, I personally play RP because I really like diplomacy. Everything you said is true. Not all scenarios can be balanced, even scenarios based on the default map can't. Example; without special units or anything edited, lets say there's China (all Chinese regions) against United Korea; Korea can be good in early game but later on Korea would lose. When in a default map game, korea would be able to take more land and have more chances in defeating China.

Indeed, some scenarios are all about spamming units, including RP.
But.don't forget that in all scenarios skill, more or less does matter.

When a player plays RP 24/7 he obviously will suck when playing without sixteen atk tanks and a hundred def bunkers xD.
The worst thing is that nobody rlly plays RP for.diplomacy and that sucks. Afterall, RP is a different type of
gameplay to me as I would never play.seriously on RP. As the only.thing you do.there is spam tanks and bombers.

W/E, not gonna talk about.the.scenarioa issue here.I just answered to the dude with the cocky attitude over there who.thinks.that he's the best.

Edit; you pretty much said what I said (I said SOME scenarios) and yeah I play RP for fun when I'm in the mood I obviously don't do it for competitive play.

Speed compensates for funding.

Especially true for economic strategies
