Correction: in the name of Islam. Again you are softening it by saying religion every time, refusing to realize they are being done in the name of Islam. It's pretty clear I am talking about the rise in islamic terrorist attacks in recent years. In regards to the western funding of ISIS, yes ,I realize the US had a part to play initially in the rise of ISIS financially, but for someone to say the US or any other western country is funding ISIS to this day is a ridiculous conspiracy theory.

I was talking about the inquisition there so it would be in the name of the bible and christianity.

Christianity and the Bible are actually against violence overall and while there are some violent parts they are just contradictory because the Bible is made up of many different sources and writers piled together. By contrast, the Quran was written by Mohammad, all of it, and rather than implications and bits here and there it is the book's main point when it comes to how to treat infidels. Also, there are plenty of Christians in the Middle East too and infact they make up around 10% of Syria and about half of Lebanon. Yet I see no Christian terrorists and extremists in the region, and no Druze, Yazidi and whatever other terrorists either. So no, it's not just that the Middle East overall is not as advanced, it is Islam itself that breeds this behaviour. Are you seriously trying to say that a religion that wants you to forcefully convert people of other religions is innocent and not to blame for any of its' followers extreme actions?

Replying to your edits, no, Muslim extremists are funded by far by Saudi Arabia, the gulf states, Iran and to a MUCH lesser degree the US, and that only indirectly because they didn't know who they were funding.

There's violence in the bible as well, the source doesn't really matter to me that much. And even if there are, we've evolved to overcome that, right? So can muslims, hence why not the entirety of muslims is invading us.

Well, I think I agree with that. Considering Hinduism or Budism particularly, the level of extremism would need to be completely exagerated in order to push them to consider violence as their last resort. Sadly, it's not the same for every other religion.

I'd like it that way, due to the fact each general would have personal motives rather then working for a single corrupt government. But I could see there being issues with funding and corruption on a military level aswell. Maybe instead each state should host it's own armed forces. Rather then individual generals.

But, as you just said, wouldn't that simply increase the possibilities of corruption or even of there being an internal conflict?? Each general could have conflicting interests with each other... that would entail such huge tensions in an enormous country like usa that idk how would you live with it. A corrupt general could also lead to catastrophic outcomes

Between demographic pressure and cultural pressure, I think Islam probably will become the most influential organised religion on the European Continent sometime this century. Unlike many posters here I don't see that as a necessarily bad thing. It could be a disaster, but it doesn't necessarily have to be.

Admittedly I am not well informed in this issue and my opinion is more instinctive than well-considered. But it's what I'm inclined to think.
