The Dishonest "Mainstream" Media

This tells you all you need to know about the "mainstream" media. BBC won't even admit that Trump was shot. Look how they weasel out of it.... "Trump rushed off stage at rally as bangs heard". Really?!?



Compare to the "alternative" media which actually tells the truth:

They claim he is the one encouraging violence so they will find a way to blame this on him. This is never a good thing. Even if the candidate were a complete monster from hell all this does is add fuel to the fire and open the door for more violence. Our country is going downhill fast for a number of reasons, and the American people have to raise our standards to put a stop to it. The deterioration of civility and common agreements on the basic fabric of our society is an existential threat, that will drastically decrease the quality of our lives. It's not a joke or some live entertainment. The media shoulders a large part of the blame, as well as all those who focus on culture war issues to get elected. Our country argues about abortion and trans rights while we all slip down the drain. Our life expectancy is dropping, our currency and global prestige is weakening, we are becoming dumber. Most Americans don't really care about these 'culture war' issues, or at least a common consensus is easy to find. For example; Abortion should be legal for the first 8 weeks, but illegal after 20 weeks- The majority of Americans would find that compromise acceptable, yet politicians prefer to use these things a wedge for their own gain. I like RFK as he actually talks about health, currency, and is willing to have a normal conversation and listen to others and SERVE. He is a good start, but these issues need to be brought back into the mainstream. This psychotic obsessive narrative led by the media for their own gain is leading us all towards an abyss that most people can't even see. We don't hate them as much as they deserve to be hated.

Well yep, ofc the social media reactions would be extremely predictable as well. I heard and saw a picture of him getting hit close to the right ribs, but the jacket he was wearing absorbed it completely, so the sh00ter did actually get potentially fatal hits, he didn't "miss" as some would say

I would preferred if you wouldn't insert your politics into my games. I know it is important, you care, I agree with the sentiment but I hate when politics are being mixed with my escapism and entertainment. As an admin I think you shouldn't take sides, get into the us vs them fights or lecture your players about right and wrong.
I stopped watching and unsubscribed from various channels during the 2016 and Brexit shenanigans from pro-Trump, pro-Hilary, pro-Leave and pro-Remain people. I didn't come here to hear your hot take about why Farage is a Nazi or why Trump is the 5D Chess Master. I came here to watch you talk about plastic dudes and move them around a table, cards or painting stuff. In this case I'm here to move digital dudes around a textured background. Make a second channel, go post it on Facebook or Twitter or another cesspool. You are not going to make a groundbreaking revelation or change an opinion of either of the polarized groups. It will only make people in the middle more annoyed because there is no escaping from the holy wars of leftoids and rightoids.

And there is no war in Ukraine, just a special military operation, Russia is not an aggressor it is in fact an innocent defender who didndu nuffin wrong ever, and it has accomplished all of its goals, thank you very much.

Elon Musk endorsed President Trump on X. Elon Musk. Not X. Not Tesla. Not SpaceX. Just Elon. People are people, not their jobs.

Likewise I've always felt free to talk politics in my personal capacity on atWar, and will continue to do so. My personal right to freedom of speech does not end because coincidentally I happen to be an admin here. I don't use any special privileges for my personal posts -- anybody can promote a post and it will appear on the homepage, that's nothing unique to me.

I'm sorry you are unable to understand the difference between a personal post and an official post, but they really are separate things and I do hope you figure that out someday.

P.S. I don't understand what Ukraine has to do with this conversation at all.
