Extreme lag in scenarios

Hello there. I have been experiencing severe lag on senarios, mostly Fappino's RP Scenario. It comes to a point that I get disconnected and/or I have to choose a country three or four times to get it nailed by the system.

The lobby runs just fine. I'm pretty sure my internet connection is good enough. I experience that on both downloadable client and browser-based atWar. Thanks in advance.

Make sure you aren't running too many unneeded programs while playing atWar.

How much RAM do you have?
What is your Internet connection speed?


And which operating system are you running?

I have about 1 GB of RAM.
About 10 MBs of internet.

I'm running Windows 7. Also, I only have Firefox open and the atWar client.

That 1GB is granting you the lag.
Consider adding a few more. 4 is good.

I have 8GB RAM, on Windows 8, good internet speed, and only have atWar running when I play, but still have this issue; not only in scenarios, but also in regular Whole World/Europe maps. Not sure what the deal is with that. It happens mostly at the end of my turns: I'll click "end turn" before the timer runs up, and when the timer runs up, everything just stands still, won't let me see move my units anymore, won't let me see my battle results, nor start my next turn. Really weird...
Re-loading atWar quickly and resuming the game seems to help, but that gets laborious having to do that every single turn, and takes away from some of the time I should be using to TB, buy units, move units, attack, wall, etc.

Also, consider using another browser. If it's Firefox, ditch that. Use Chrome*, IE or Opera - as they work very well with atWar( at least for me they do)

* - With Chrome 45 you won't be able to play atWar anymore.
