Casual game, can't see victory screen if out of the game on last turn

On the last turn, if you play your turn and then you shut down the browser so you are not online when the last player plays their turn you can't see the victory screen.

You can check your game profile to know your "Victory"

But I can't see the end of game stats.

Right? And just why is that? A bug or just the nature of the system? Just freakin' weird. It's happened to me, I came back and the game was gone, Would be nice to see the stats screen at the end.
