Honestly this strat can be super deadly if one knows how to use it. It is often called the noob strategy but I think it's way deeper and versatile than simply "tank spam fucking everything". Also, considering half of my games don't require any sort of defense whatsoever, I'd actually call it one of the better strats in terms of situational usefulness. Discuss

You do realize that neutral countries don't attack you back? So maybe thats why you have never needed to play defense...

12.09.2016 - 12:53 From looking at this post I can tell you that very few players realices the potential that lies in Lucky Bastard. It's the only strategy for Spain capable of put the strongest rush on Rome, Paris or London, while also one of the fewest strategy to boost infantries both defensively and offensively. RA is sure as weak as they classify it, bitz more so. But LB is definitively the most underrated strategy ever.

I think HW is the most underrated strategy since most people have never tried it, yet is consistently voted as one of the worst. Having the element of surprise and the ability to adjust to the situation with, what I think is a versatile strategy, is useful. It may not be the best, but it certainly is different, unique, and more importantly more fun than most strategies.

Seriously? I thought that was GC!!? Why aren't there any guides on LB then?? Time to play Spain and test this myself... Edit: Do you use LB infs, or a mix of tanks and infs?

Yeah, no. From a common sense perspective you would think having a mix of units is the best for 1vs1vs1 battles, since you can roll both a higher attack and a higher defense than your opponent. But there's another factor, which is the sum of their attack+defense values, something that GC nerfs with the -2 def/att. Against none, GC units would have a lessen battle stacking bonus but would still perform better due to their HP bonus. LB on the other hand, doesn't have such weakness and the units still get an increased critical. I think the actual rush involves 22 infs 17 tanks and gen from both sides, but I doubt the results varies much.

Yes, it is that bad. It nerfs infantry, thats about it. If you want slightly cheaper tanks, use imp. At least with imp you won't have Infantry that costs 80 (with all upgrades, which low ranks dont have) and has 5 defense lol. so ya, RA is imho just a burden. would rather no strat.

Lets put it this way, 20 LB inf and 20 lb tanks cost 3800 which DS can buy 127 Militia

That's kinda hilarious and true, but we're talking about rushes and there's no way you can get even 20 militia, let alone 127 militia as Spain on Italy (without using ATs to transport militia to Barcelona and save range).
