Third Reich and USSR are not equal

There is a trend in EU and the West to equate Nazi Germany and Soviet Union for some reason. But reality and history is far from that. Unfortunately, even evil have tiers, and putting everything in the same basket is not doing any favor to posterity and truth.

The defender had better treatment of invaders than invader had of captured defenders.





History doesn't care about feelings, or politics. It shows how things happened, not how you imagine did happen. Wrongdoers should be punished, but not more than the severity of their crime, as that would be no justice done, but revenge.
