They moved to SE Europe through Anatolia with Turks from 14th to 18th century. You can see their language, culture and appearance is same like of people from Azerbaijan, Chechnya, Ichkeria and Dagestan.

Historians found similar (in some regions same) culture, tradition and language between Albanians and Albanians from Caucasus. They moved to Europe through Anatolia with Turks, they invited them to help them colonize Balkan because balkan christians rebeled constantly against turks. Thats why they wanted to create Great Albania, to take as much territory as possible from christians.

There are not historical documents about Albanians on Balkan before 14th century, there are 'Alvani' which mean mountainous people, its greek word. Albanians inherited name from that. Turks called albanians 'Arnauti' which mean 'those who will never return' on turkish, because they left caucasus to settle balkan never to return to their homeland.

Modern Albania claim it is descendant of Illyria, but Illyria was trading sea nation, they had developed ports and trade while historians never found proof for Albanian coastal skills. Even Albanian language is totally different from Illyrian with not a single word similar, while it would have similarities if albanians descent from them.

Dont be insulted because of history and origins as it is not important. Everyone come from somewhere and all people migrated in history.

there are many regions with same name, iberia in caucasus and spain, balkan for europe, caucasus and west part of central asia.

Actually the theory for natives in the new world is they migrated from Asia through the baring strait that opened up when water levels where low enough in the last ice age. The baring strait is an ocean between russia and alaska.

Depends if it's civilians regular army or special forces. If it was normal people we would Lose even getting to the battle (to much walking) if it was normal army I'd say it would have to do with terrain and which army was more strategic. If it was special forces I believe american navy seals to be among the best trained In the world that includes special fighting styles and training with hand to hand combat.

Balkan people should do a mock hunger Games each year. Every nation sends 2 tributes and whoever wins is the best fighters for that year
