When map editor took 6 months to be implemented i guess desktop version will take more than 1 year to come out.

Probably full of bugs....which mean the first few months after its release will be full of bug reports. Proper map editor with minimal bugs will likely take 3-6 months...

Easy: no one likes being pursued and constantly being interrogated about their work, specially when they're the first ones interested in finishing it

Speaking from personal experience as a student programmer, rushing a project causes more harm than it does good, one error can mess up lines and lines of coding that you have to go back and fix. I know he is way past his deadline, and it is annoying me as well, but just give him time, I'd rather have a few bugs than hundreds because of rushing/

The original estimate was mine, and I'm notoriously optimistic about deadlines I did actually finish my part in December, but didn't realize Amok had so much to do still. Doesn't help that he's much busier than me, and can hardly find any time for development.

New map editor is unable to save maps. Are we able to run silverlight one until HTML5 editor will be done? Is there any option for that?

Well your totally wrong lol, Microsoft was losing money on silverlight so it was being decommissioned and no longer available as a platform, rather then let the game die they translated it in its entirety to html5 before silverlight was killed in November of last year.
