Hi AW hoi polloi, if you're like me and pokemon was an important part of your childhood you may want to prove that you are the very best like no one ever was. If this is the case then sign up below for my upcoming pokemon battle tourney. (this is not a joke)

Format: XY OU Singles

This seriously needs to stop. Why are our tournaments leading players off the website? Cut this stuff out. Come on Acquiesce, someone of your stature should know better. Why make people play games on a different site knowing Aw is small enough.

Now we need more and more players to get motivated to play AW and more competitive players. Instead of trying to make something motivating and fun for everyone you make players go away from this game lol....

IF a mod does this, then everyone will do this. I can invite players to join maybe another game i might play, and others can do the same. And AW will die in no time

btw, it would also count as Announcing the game, as atWar can get some players from theses off-websites.

That is not promoting the website. You are giving out trophies for a tournament that has 0 relations to atwar.. Relax from atwar go for it, everyone deserves a break. But not hosting an entire tourny leading 20+ players away from AW.

No support this one. It is like two countries excharging products. It is beneficial for both countries, same with games. If you go to another game and play, then meet friends and ect... theses friends are also likery to go at your game, and meet friends there too.... and so on.

This is Ad ignoratian. Nor you nor me know about it. However, I can assure you that it has happened in the past( Stream, Kongregate). So I cant assure you.

I am trying to learn how to argue ( yes college suff...) So I need to put in practice what I've learned.

As for your statement we can divide it in two parts:

Statement: It is proof no new people has come from curver fever want to know why?

Proof #1: everything was played in private rooms

Conclusion: The proof #1 is incorrect. Because me, Death, Mother and a lot of more people play CurveFever even if there is no atWar people there. So yes, we play on public. Your proof #1 was based in the match against atWar peoples, where you skiped that we also play public games. I consider this as fallacy of the scarecrow as you buyed a wrong proof based on your own reasoning.

Therefore, your argument is invalid ( fallacy of the scarecrow).

Cool, this isn't college, this is a great website called Atwar-game.com where you can be yourself.. And cool.. I'm sure many curvefever players say "I sure know clovis and death are from atwar!1!!!"

For me yes. For Death and Mother, I cant assure that.

However, they play more that me, so is very likery to yes, but I cant assure this.

MOU why don't you stop being such a killjoy? I just want to do something fun other than AW with AW players and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. This "argument" of yours is laughable. Was it wrong for me to set up movie night before because players might stop playing AW to watch movies? As long my tournament is bringing AW players together rather than leading players away from AW it is perfectly fine, even beneficial for the community. Do not act like the solution to AW's problems is more AW related tourneys (we have more than enough). And do not tell me what I can and cannot do as if you know better than me (you don't).
