Oh i isee what you mean. It's true that Israel used to be more independent but it is far from being puppet state. just go to google news and check how many conflicts occured between the Israeli and American governments in the last 5 years. regarding semi-stable - you could'nt be more stable than that in the middle east. 30 years of peace and prosperity speak for themselves.
