I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed that AtWar has gotten a lot bigger in player base since December (That's when I started to play) Anyone agree? And also, I hope it is. Because I probably won't consider getting Premium unless the game gets a bigger player base (Just in case) Also, when will the dev's put this game on Steam Greenlight?

That would be a good idea to put this game on steam.

We now have 220 players online on average. Compared to 130 in December, that's 70% increase
Steam Greenlight is currently on hold due to Silverlight licensing difficulties.

Been around since the Afterwind Beta, it doesn't feel like the game actually got a lot more players.
Of course I can see the numbers increase and more new players. The problem is a lot of old players leave at the same time.
Steam Greenlight seems actually like a great idea to increase the number of players. On some hours the game is dead literally.

Microsoft doesn't allow the redistribution of Silverlight runtime, which is a problem to us.

Well this is a small game maybe you could get away with it with out them noticing? And if they do you can just pull it from steam huehuehue

This is a stupid idea.

I may be mistaken, but shouldn't it be possible to redirect the players to the official download page, so they install silverlight on their end theirself? Or is it mandatory by steam that all prerequisites are delivered with the game?

Well, if the game were to be coded again in HTML5 + JS, it would expand the userbase.. People would be able to play freely on iPads, iPods, iWhatevers and Unix.
